Week 1 Sept starts out hot. Smoke lingers on through Labor Day from August fires. Small surf continues with a pulse here and there. Beach gets pretty packed early
Water is baking ... gotta be 60 … On 9/9 the sky was strangely thick with orange smoke from the devastating fires
Week 2 and We're half way through the month and the sky turned blue again. Water is still good around 58. Hint of a south pulse occasionally. Smooth water but still pretty square. Too much sand.
Week 3 & 4 Fall arrived. It's in the air, but winds are still calm and water is still blazing. The coast fog has finally cleared and first big NW is on its way. The big NW moved some sand around (good) but sets are still twerky and not offering up that many open corners. Winds are supposed to turn offshore the next couple of days.
