...Report...

    Week 1  It's big
Weeek 2  It's still big. The northern Pacific has been on a tear. Large long-period W, WNW and NW swells have been pounding the caost for 10 days. Cron has been on overdrive and has often been too big and unruly to surf. Everything about the beach and bottom are currently being reshaped. Mid week the bouy was a solid 16ft @ 17sec. Most of the good scoring has been out of town.
Week 3  The biggest swell of the season is on its way this weekend. Oh, well. Maybe this swell will take care of the steep beach berm. Getting out of the water in that shore grind is downright scary. There are some deep spots and shoulder set ups showing from the recent poundings. And although the lagoon is nowhere near breaching this year, and it didn't last year, when things calm down a bit and get organized, it could look good.
Week 4  King tides are finally cycling through mornings, so ridable waves have been mostly on the outgoing in the afternoon. The bottom has changed dramatically over the last few weeks and there are some weird deep spots and burgers. This next week brings heavy rain forecast along with onshore flow and another long-period swell to change things again.
